Keepsake Quilting has come a long way since 1986 when Judy and Russ Sabanek turned their vision of a quilting catalog into reality. The first catalog, which mailed in the spring of 1987, met with such great enthusiasm that customers started showing up at Russ and Judy’s small office hoping to see the fabrics in person. Thus, in 1988, the retail shop, which quickly became a Mecca for quilters from around the world, was born in Center Harbor, New Hampshire.
Our mostly black and white digest size catalog has grown over the years to a beautiful, full-color, full size catalog and a Web site offering a huge selection of highest quality cotton quilt fabrics, a vast array of quilting books, quilt kits, quilt patterns, specially coordinated precut quilt fabrics and quilting supplies. The shop has also grown and now includes items from our sister catalogs Keepsake NeedleArts™ and Patternworks™.
