In 1958, Carl and Donna Rose open the original 750 square foot Carl’s Golfland on the outskirts of Pontiac, Michigan. In 1962 the original Carl's Golfland moved to our current Bloomfield Hills location where our facility has since expanded to 43,000 square feet of golf retail and a 15-acre world-class practice facility. In 2000, our second retail location at St. John's in Plymouth Michigan opened to the public as THE contemporary showplace in the world of golf retail. Throughout the years, Carl's Golfland has been recognized as a leader with numerous awards including GolfWorld's 100 Best Golf Shops, Golf Digest's 100 Best Clubfitters, Mizuno's Top 100 Clubfitters, Ping's Top 100 Club Fitters and Hour Detroit's Best of to name a few. Today, we continue to expand including our e-commerce business as we opened a new state-of-the-art distribution center also home to our world-class, 100% in-house Customer Service team.
